Sustainable Marblehead launches free energy coaching program

Table of Contents

Sustainable Marblehead, a volunteer-driven community organization dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and waste, has launched a new Energy Coaching Program to help Marblehead residents make their homes more energy efficient and climate-friendly.

The program connects residents with trained, local volunteer energy coaches who provide free, one-on-one guidance on clean energy technologies and home energy improvements. Coaches help residents navigate options such as weatherization, heat pumps, solar panels, electric vehicles and more — making what often feels like a complex process easier to understand and implement.

“Most residents find making home energy improvements a daunting process, and value assistance from a trusted coach,” said Lisa Wolf, energy coach coordinator. “Sustainable Marblehead’s Energy Coaches are trained, local volunteers who want to help guide residents through the planning and implementation of clean energy technologies.”

The Energy Coaching Program is part of Sustainable Marblehead’s broader mission to educate and engage residents, businesses and town leaders in creating a cleaner, more sustainable future. By supporting local households in reducing their carbon footprint, the program promotes individual cost savings and advances the community’s collective climate goals.
